PanBeta

Given that BETAGLOT can describe many different sports, it can also help you to transfer your knowledge between sports.

The Klimbers of KlimBeta are BETAGLOTs
BETAGLOTs are people who can perceive, speak and write a language called BETAGLOT which describes the experience of athletes while they perform their sport.

Why does "BETAGLOT" sound familiar?

BETAGLOT is word that was recently invented. It originates from "beta", which you've heard before while climbing and the word "polyglot", which literally means "many tongues" or metaphorically "many languages".

The "Beta" in KlimBeta and BETAGLOT are pronounced "bee+ta", like Hamlet's "to be or not to be, that is the question" because you are being the beta

As you can see by the three separate groups of symbols carved into this famous stone, the people who designed the Rosetta Stone were polyglots. They wrote in Ancient Greek and two types of Ancient Egyptian. Anthropologists used their understanding of Ancient Greek to read Ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphs for the first time in thousands of years.
If you can communicate with more than one language, then you are a polyglot!
If you can perceive BETA in sports other than climbing, then you are a BETAGLOT!

Therefore a BETAGLOT is like a polyglot of sports. BETAGLOTs apply their knowledge of one sport to understand other sports, but not all sports can be described by BETAGLOTs.

Have you ever seen a football team in the finals cheering when their opposition scores?

BETAGLOTs can describe themselves or any athlete who participates in sports where opposing competitors sometimes cheer for each other to win as they wait their turn.

Allez! Venga! Send it!

BETAGLOTs perform in sports which have no direct opposition. It can either be a solo sport or one where athletes work as a team.

There's no one trying to tackle you when you're skiing!

BETAGLOT describes sports where the opposition is the Task.
